Our Environmental Commitment x Reforest’Action
iSupplier’s Environmental Commitment at the Heart of Our Strategy
iSupplier’s environmental commitment represents a strategic pillar of the company. For several years, we have placed environmental protection at the forefront. Consequently, this value guides our development choices and daily actions.
Moreover, the rapid growth of our business has strengthened this ambition. Therefore, we decided to combine economic performance with environmental responsibility. This approach enables us to achieve sustainable and coherent growth.
Strengthening Our Environmental Commitment through the Reforest’Action Partnership
In this context, iSupplier established a partnership with Reforest’Action. This organization supports reforestation projects on an international scale and actively works to restore fragile ecosystems.
Thanks to the activities carried out in 2020, iSupplier financed the planting of 2,000 trees. These trees were planted in South Africa, in areas under threat. In this way, we actively contribute to the fight against deforestation.
Reducing Our Carbon Footprint While Engaging Partners
Our main goal remains to reduce iSupplier’s carbon footprint. However, we aim to go further in this approach. That is why we involve our clients and partners in this environmental initiative.
Each collaboration directly supports environmental projects. In this way, we transform our business relationships into levers for positive impact. This approach also strengthens collective awareness of climate challenges.
Restoring Ecosystems and Preserving the Environment
The projects we support aim to restore degraded ecosystems. They also contribute to the preservation of local biodiversity. At the same time, they promote sustainable pasture management.
Reforest’Action ensures rigorous monitoring of the plantations. Teams track tree growth over the long term and provide training to local farmers on sustainable practices.
A Positive and Lasting Impact on Local Territories
Previously, the restored areas served as intensive grazing land. Over time, these practices severely degraded the soil. Desertification gradually weakened these arid territories.
Today, these lands belong to the Kuzuko and Koedoeskloof reserves. Reforestation helps recreate a balanced forest ecosystem. Consequently, the Port Elizabeth regions regain an essential ecological role.
In conclusion, iSupplier affirms a responsible and committed vision. We aim to demonstrate that sustainable growth is both possible and necessary.
